10! and Russian Lunges

A couple of clarifications regarding the On Ramp curriculum:

10!

I’ve had multiple questions regarding the notation 10! in our Day 2 On Ramp WOD.  Now the mathematically geeky know that 10 factorial written 10! Means 10 multiplied by 9 multiplied by 8 multiplied by 7….you get the picture.  That would result in a whopping 3,628,800 repetitions.  Obviously not what we’re looking to put our day 2 folks through ;)   So, to clarify this…my notation of 10! = 10+9 +8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1.  First you begin with 10 deadlifts, then do 10 pushpress, then 9, and 9 etc.

Russian lunges

Essentially a walking lunge with a dumbbell and a twist.  You hold the dumbbell to your sternum and do a walking lunge.  When in the lunge position you rotate your torso towards your front leg, then back to center. Check out the following pics of our athlete Glen:
