I am BEYOND excited about this! I am racking my brain all week (and convincing the wife) to figure out how to make this happen. Thanks for the reply on my previous question!

When using a “backup” name besides CF(Fill in the Blank), do you do anything besides file a Fictitious Business Name application in addition to the CF name and get that added to bank accounts, insurance, etc.?

Thanks for the blog and info.

Your legal name should belong completely and solely to you (not be anyone else’s trademark). Form a class S corp or an LLC that is your business name (whatever you want to call it). Your DBA is your CF name and you file a fictitious business name for that. You will have both names on insurance, etc. Hope that helps!

Our folks get paid per client and their pay tier % is based on experience as well as how motivated and aggressive they are at attracting clients for themselves. Starting pay with no experience is 36%…top tier is 70%.

  4. Hey Nikki, At Norcal do you have participants sign any additional release waivers to participate in the Paleo Challenges? or is it covered under their basics on the membership forms?

We don’t have an additional waiver…just our initial one when they join the gym.
